Riding Through Lockdown

2020, the year the world hit pause – except for me! Lockdown blues? Not a chance. Mumbai was a ghost town, but I saw opportunity! Hopped on my trusty bike – the only thing the cops weren't stopping – and explored the beautiful city like never before. Empty streets, clean air, just me and my wheels. It was my secret weapon against lockdown craziness, keeping my mind and body happy and fit!

2021

Nine Months of Discovery

2021 was a game-changer! October hit, and I just… left. No looking back! First stop: Auroville, planting trees for a month – total mind-opener. Then, bam! The mountains called me from a beach, and I was off to Uttarakhand. Six months later, I’d soaked up everything – from the Kumaon region to Garhwal, even the Char Dham Yatra, a truly spiritual Himalayan experience. It was like unlocking secrets to the mountains. And guess what? That six-month trip just morphed into three more months exploring Himachal Pradesh. A mind blown year indead!

2022

Riding India: A Year of Adventure

2022 my world just expanded. September rolled around, and I bought a Royal Enfield Himalayan – my ticket to places I'd only dreamed of. The first ride on it was thousand kilometers to Ajaypur, smack in the heart of India, Chandrapur, Maharashtra a place known for coal mines and wild stories!  Then, winter hit, and I was off to chill in South India, hopping down the west coast to Kanyakumari. Goa, Gokarna, Hampi, you name it – weeks of pure fun, meeting fellow travelers from all over the world, hearing their India stories.  By March, I was practically melting near the equator, so I switched gears and hit the cool hills of the Western Ghats; Munnar, Kodaikanal, Ooty – three months of pure riding bliss, beautiful lush green! It was a year of crazy adventures and discovering hidden gems everywhere I went!

2023

Temple Trek on Two Wheels

Winter 2023 hit, and I got this crazy idea, ride across India! Not just any ride, though – a temple trek on wheels! I mapped out a route hitting all the big, ancient temples like Somnath, Dwarka, Mahakaleshwar, Jagannath Puri, Tirupati Balaji… you name it.  To my surprise, it turns out, nobody had ever done a temple ride this epic! So, yeah, I ended up in the India Book of Records, snagging a title, medal, and certificate for covering the most kilometers on a motorcycle visiting India's famous temples. Pretty cool, right?

2024

India Circuit: Solo Conquest

2024 was my year to go BIG! My mission was to conquer the Himalayas on my bike. So, I left Mumbai in April's heat, hitting Rishikesh in just four days. Ganges vibes, spiritual highs in Uttarkashi, and another epic Char Dham Yatra – pure magic! Then, in June, I stumbled upon a hidden mountain route from Mussoorie to Tirthan Valley – seriously, the most breathtaking ride ever.  July for me was Ladakh time! Umlingla Pass, the 'Pilgrimage of Riders,' 19,024 feet up, the Highest Motorable Road Of The World – talk about mind-blowing! That's when I decided to do the India Circuit Solo Ride.  August 15th, Independence Day, I set off from Siachen Base Camp, the northernmost point, heading for Dwarka, the westernmost tip, Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India and Kaho, the first village of India in the east. Sixty-six days, 14,163 kilometers, and I nailed it! Back to Siachen in -7°C – that's some seriously courageous, isn’t it ;) This ride wasn't just a trip; it was me quenching my thirst to explore every single corner of India. I faced floods, storms, landslides and tough terrain, but the spirit and support I found in the kindness of people everywhere made it all possible
